The Spot at Tuxedo Point is a four building apartment complex forming the rental component of the 13-acre, 600 unit Tuxedo Point Multi-Family residential development. The Tuxedo Point Master-Plan, also completed by BLDG, sustainably integrates building, landscape and site components to create a pedestrian and transit friendly village of condominium, rental and commercial uses in southwest Winnipeg.
The building orientation of the Spot at Tuxedo Point is utilized to create a continuously sheltered park-like public space that connects pedestrian circulation and public amenities to building entrances and the adjacent community, including access to Assiniboine Park, Fort Whyte Conservation Area and the nearby Seasons of Tuxedo shopping district. The design of the buildings and suites also maximizes interior/exterior connections via an extensive main floor terrace, balconies and a large roof deck.
